About TraitMix

TraitMix is a free website for taking personality tests with the people in your life and understanding each other better. It is operated by plexsor co.,ltd.

Our principles

• Open science first. Where good public-domain research items exist, such as the International Personality Item Pool, we use them. Where they do not, we write original questions and say so.
• Transparency. Every score is explained, including the compatibility formula.
• Privacy by design. No accounts and no database of answers. Tests run entirely in your browser.
• Honest limits. Our tests are for self-reflection and conversation. They do not diagnose anything and are not suitable for hiring decisions.

Sources

• Big Five items: Mini-IPIP (Donnellan et al., 2006), from the public-domain International Personality Item Pool (ipip.ori.org).
• Emotional intelligence, relationship and quick-quiz items: original TraitMix content.
• Logic puzzles: generated by our own algorithm each time.

Trademarks

MBTI® and Myers-Briggs® are trademarks of The Myers-Briggs Company. TraitMix is not affiliated with them. Our 16-type code is calculated independently from Big Five scores.
